Blue eyes look very striking in orange, copper and peach tones. This is because orange and blue are contrasting colours on the colour wheel. This means that they help each other to stand out.
• Prime the mobile eyelids with a gold tone that has a creamy consistency. This would cause the gold eyeshadow you apply afterwards to be more intense.
• On the mobile eyelid, pat on a gold eyeshadow. Do not go past the crease. Add some to the inner corners of the eye to bring my luminosity to the look.
• Use a fluffy crease brush for the next step. Dip the tip of the brush into an orange shadow and apply right above the crease of the eye. Reapply the colour as many times as necessary so that it is vibrant. Blend out the edges with a clean blending brush. The edges should be softened and leave sufficient space under the brow to apply another colour.
• With an angled eyeshadow brush put a black tone right at the crease. Blend it up into the orange so that the colour is intensified and seems like an orange halo over the black.
• Use a pale peach colour right under the brow and blend it downwards into the orange. This pale colour would highlight the eyes and the shape of the brows nicely.
• Line all around the inside and outside of eyes with black pencil eyeliner. Connect both the top and bottom lashes at the corners. Trace over the liner with black shadow to set the colour and keep it from transferring or smudging.
• Use a smudge brush to trace some copper along the lower lash line, right under the black line.
• Complete the look with two generous coats of mascara on the bottom and top lashes.
